Happy New Year!
All the best in 2013 to you and your family. Keep living and enjoy what you do, and if that includes taking pix, then keep on shooting. The world is your canvas.
We had a little lake effect snow here the last couple of days. Felt a bit couped up, and decided to try shooting at night with a Leica MP-9 and two lenses. The Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 and the Leica 35mm f/2 summicron. The Leica is not known for high ISO photogrpahy, and I pushed these images to 1600 iso, or about as high as I wanted to. The noise is there in the night shots for sure, and I wasn't shooting with the fastest lenses either, but it was fun to be outdoors in the middle of the night without too many disctractions. It was just something to do with a camera and some free time. Nothing exotic, but it was fun trying to push the Leica. All shots were at f/2.8 and f/2 - wide open. One day shot added for a little sense of just how much lake effect snow we picked up.
