My first triptych was quite a project. A local establishment approached me regarding one of my images, and asked if it was possible to take that image and divide it into three separate images. Working with my long time print collaborator, Mat Lombardi, we established that indeed we could create three images from one. Each image is 40 x 60. Fortunatley, the image was created with a Nikon D800e at the time, so the resolution of that camera helped us out. The image was taken in Iceland, and it's called End of the World. There is an amount of grainess to each image, giving it the impression that this image was shot on film. Subtle grain, but it does look like a black and white film image. The framing and installation was handled by Anne Hughers of ZIA Gallery, the gallery that represents my work. So many thanks to Mat and Anne for creating and installing my first commercial triptych.
